5.4 User-Generated Content

6. CERTIFICATES AND CREDENTIALS

6.2 Certificate Validity

  • Certificates represent completion only

6.3 Certificate Revocation

We may revoke certificates if:

  • Obtained fraudulently
  • Course content violated
  • Plagiarism or cheating detected
  • Payment not completed
  • Legal requirement

 

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Platform and services are provided “AS IS” without warranties:

  • Personal injury or property damage
  • Business interruption
  • Lost wages or savings

7.3 Maximum Liability

Our maximum liability for any claim is:

  • Limited to amount you paid for the course
  • Or $100, whichever is greater
  • In aggregate for all claims

7.4 Exceptions

This limitation does not apply to:

  • Personal injury or death
  • Fraud or intentional misconduct
  • Violations of consumer protection laws

8. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Ladder Academy from:

  • Violation of third-party rights

  • Infringement or illegal activity
  • Including attorney fees and damages

 

9. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

9.2 Harmful Behavior

9.3 Platform Misuse

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access
  • Interfere with Platform security
  • Disrupt Platform operations
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers)
  • Transmit viruses or malware
  • Overload servers
  • Impersonate others

9.4 Content Violations

  • Post copyrighted material without permission
  • Post false or misleading information
  • Post spam or advertisements
  • Post promotional content without permission
  • Circumvent content filters

 

10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

10.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by:

  • Laws of Texas
  • Excluding conflicts of law principles
  • You consent to jurisdiction of Texas courts

10.2 Informal Resolution

Before legal action:

  2. Describe dispute and desired resolution
  3. We will respond within 30 days
  4. Good faith negotiation for 60 days

10.3 Arbitration

If not resolved informally:

  • Submit to binding arbitration
  • Single arbitrator
  • JAMS arbitration rules apply
  • Cost split equally
  • Arbitration in Dallas, Texas
  • Except for IP infringement (court only)

10.4 Litigation

If arbitration unavailable:

  • Courts of Dallas County, Texas
  • You waive jury trial right
  • You waive class action right
  • Individual claims only

 

11. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

12. TERMINATION

  • Your content may be deleted
  • Our restrictions continue

 

13. MODIFICATIONS TO PLATFORM

  • Not liable for interruptions
  • Not liable for data loss
  • Except where prohibited by law

 

14. SEVERABILITY

15. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
